Silver is stainless steel and waterproof, so it can stay on in the shower, pool and ocean. Gold can get wet too. Wear it in the shower or swimming, then rinse with fresh water and pat it dry, especially after chlorine or salt water. Put on lotion, perfume and hairspray before your necklace, not after. Like all gold plating, the finish will slowly wear with time and water, and a little care keeps it shining longer.

Yes. The silver necklace is waterproof stainless steel. The gold necklace can be worn in the shower and pool too. Rinse with fresh water and pat dry after, especially after chlorine or salt water. Like all gold plating, the finish will slowly wear over time, and a little care helps it last.
